In 2010, British Columbia, Yukon, the Northwest Territories and Nunavut's manufacturing sector (which includes construction, cement and machinery production)
consumed 78,240,710 GJ and 
emitted 3,483,816 GHG tonnes.
 
Natural gas is the fuel of choice in this sector, accounting for 26.63% of the total energy consumed.  Electricity makes up 42.73% of the total; coal and oil represent 7.96% and 10.05% of the total respectively.  The final 12.62% is made up of other fuel sources.
