consumed 28,574,350 GJ of electricity and
emitted 15,489 GHG tonnes.
 
Electricity represents 35.85% of total industrial energy use.  Manufacturers are the largest consumers of electricity. However, everyone uses electricity to power lights, computers, control rooms, monitoring systems like SCADA and photocopiers to name just a few applications.
