consumed 27,449,160 GJ of electricity and
emitted 1,693,239 GHG tonnes.
 
Electricity represents 15.64% of total industrial energy use.  Forest products are the largest consumers of electricity. However, everyone uses electricity to power lights, computers, control rooms, monitoring systems like SCADA and photocopiers to name just a few applications.
