In 2010, New Brunswick's manufacturing sector (which includes construction, cement, and fertilizer production)
consumed 12,936,730 GJ and 
emitted 1,507,216 GHG tonnes.
 
Oil is the fuel of choice in this sector, accounting for 54.86% of the total energy consumed in 2010.  Electricity (38.30%) and natural gas liguids (3.94%) made up the balance.
