In 2010, industry
consumed 58,414,080 GJ of other fuels and
emitted 1,408,392 GHG tonnes.

About 33.28% of total industrial energy use comes from fuel sources such as industrial byproducts, wood waste and natural gas liquids (NGLs).

In New Brunswick, the biggest source of other fuels is industrial byproducts.  Refineries produce still gas and petroleum coke from crude oil as derivatives of their industrial processes.
