In 2010, the residential sector
consumed 5,563,160 GJ of other fuel sources and
emitted 113,149 GHG tonnes.
 
Wood (7.68%) is the fuel that provides most of the energy for residential consumption other than oil, electricity and natural gas in New Brunswick.  It is primarily used to heat homes and hot water tanks.
