Natural gas is the source of 15.37% of the energy consumed by commercial businesses and the public service in Nova ScotiaNatural gas is used for space heating and hot water in some of your workplaces, shopping centres and public buildings such as town halls, schools and libraries.  It is also used to fuel a few auxiliary motors and equipment.
In 2010, the commercial / institutional sector
consumed 8,815,333 GJ of natural gas and
emitted 648,877 GHG tonnes.
