consumed 15,840,570 GJ of electricity and
emitted 2,702,942 GHG tonnes.
 
Electricity represents 9.65% of total industrial energy use.  Forest products and manufacturers are the largest consumers of electricity. However, everyone uses electricity to power lights, computers, control rooms, monitoring systems like SCADA and photocopiers to name just a few applications.
