consumed 219,937,800 GJ of other fuels and
emitted 6,907,135 GHG tonnes.
About 18.70% of total industrial energy use comes from fuel sources such as industrial byproducts, wood waste
and natural gas liquids (NGLs).
In Ontario, the biggest source of other fuels is industrial byproducts
. Refineries produce still gas and petroleum coke from crude oil as derivatives of their industrial processes.
