In 2010, industry
consumed 219,937,800 GJ of other fuels and
emitted 6,907,135 GHG tonnes.
About 18.70% of total industrial energy use comes from fuel sources such as industrial byproducts, wood waste and natural gas liquids (NGLs).
In Ontario, the biggest source of other fuels is industrial byproducts.  Refineries produce still gas and petroleum coke from crude oil as derivatives of their industrial processes.
