Biojets may soon be an option for energy-wise customers. In 2008, one airline successfully flew an unmodified Boeing 747 from London to Amsterdam, using biodiesel.
 
The world's first biojet took to the air in 2007. An unmodified L-29 military aircraft also used biofuel for its test flight.
