emitted 951,240 GHG tonnes.
Wood (7.48%) is the fuel that provides most of the energy for residential consumption other than oil, electricity and natural gas in Quebec. It is primarily used to heat homes and hot water tanks. In 2010, ethanol represented 0.35% of total energy consumed; it was used to fuel personal automobiles.
