In 2010, the Saskatchewan forest products sector
consumed 7,896,340 GJ and
emitted 2,160,972 GHG tonnes.
Natural gas accounts for 39.25% of the fuels consumed by this sector. Electricity makes up another 60.64%, while oil (0.10%) fuels the balance of activities.
